We are pleased to offer the upgraded closing tool for use with Lucas-style bullet connectors and sleeve connectors. Saves time on wiring work and prevents damaged wire insulation from pinching with needle-nosed pliers. Suitable for use in the professional service shop. Finished in chrome plated steel with offset jaws, this set of specially designed pliers will firmly insert the bullet connectors into the female sleeves with a positive engagement due to it’s heavy-duty construction. Comfortable nylon grips offer a ‘no-slip’ grip when using the tool. The slotted ends allow the bullet connector to be captured and positively installed into the rubber sleeve when the pliers are squeezed. Both bullet connectors can be started by hand into each end of the female connector, then finished with a positive squeeze of the pliers. A light smear of dielectric grease on the bullet connector can help engage it into the sleeve and prevent future corrosion at the connection.
